How do you charge ac on Chevy Corsica?
To charge the AC on a Chevy Corsica, first, locate the low-pressure service port, which is typically found on the larger diameter AC line, usually near the compressor. Attach the AC charging kit to this port, ensuring the connector is secure. Start the engine and turn the AC to the maximum setting, then follow the instructions on the refrigerant canister to add refrigerant until the system reaches the proper pressure. Always check for any leaks and ensure the system is not overcharged.
If the bulbs and fuse are in good condition and there are no broken wires, the issue could be with the headlight switch itself. You may need to replace the headlight switch to resolve the problem. If the issue persists after replacing the switch, it's recommended to check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure and properly connected.

How do you remove the factory radio from a 1995 Chevy Corsica?
The first thing you need to do is remove the four screws that hod the trim around the radio/ gauges. Once removed, unplug connectors on the back of light switches and remove trim. The radio will have a lot of screws that hold the radio/heater control. Remove them all until the radio comes out. You can get a block off kit either from auto zone or wall mart for a pretty cheap price. Next follow the wire down to a large silver box under the dash. Unplug and remove the box. Keep the wires in case you want to wire in an after market radio. The kit also includes an after market stereo mount. Wire a quick connect harness to your stereo and it will plug into the wires you removed from the silver box under the dash. These wires may need to be untangled a bit to reach to the new stereo.
How do you open the hood of a 1991 Chevy Corsica when the hood latch cable breaks off in your hand?
If the cable itself is still there get a pair of Vise Grip pliers and you should be able to pull it. If the cable is broken up inside the housing then you will need to remove the grill insert. Why do you feel air blowing in Under the dash when driving and all fans are off?
Make sure your fan switch has an 'off' position, as some vehicles have 'low, med, and high' while 'off' is actually on the position selector...which you have to select, in these cases, to shut the fan off. In most vehicles, air will travel through the heat/vent ducts into the vehicle while driving. The movement of the vehicle forces air inside this way, even if the fan is off. HOWEVER, the selector switch would most likely have to be in the 'heat' or 'floor' position in order for air to go to the floor. If your fan switch DOES have an off position, then it is likely your vents haven't closed off the outside air. The selector may have an 'off' position which will close the air inlet and block the air from entering the vehicle.

What kind of freon is used in a 1994 Chevy 2500 pickup?
94 is the year most vehicles were in the change-over stage from the factory from r-12 to r134, look for a yellow tag/stick under the hood as to which is in your system. It came from the factory with R12 Freon installed. Unless it has been converted to R134, then it still has R12. Due to the extremely high cost of R12, I suggest you convert it over to R134a.

How do you change the rear speakers in a 2000 Kia Sephia?
I asked this question the other day and nobody answered, so I figured it out myself.
The first thing you need to do is remove the rear seat cushion. To do this, run your fingers under the cushion and you'll find two release buttons. Push them both, and get that seat out of the way.
Next is to remove the side cushions underneath the seatbelt shoulder straps. You'll find a single bolt and washer in the lower corners of the side cushions. Remove the bolts and lift up on the cushions. Get those out of the way.
Now you gotta take out the third brake light. On both sides of the light, you'll find bulls-eye shaped fasteners. Using a screwdriver, push in the middle button and pull out the fasteners. Now you can remove the brake light casing. There are two bolts that hold the brake light to the back dash. Remove them, disconnect the wire and get that brake light outta the way.
To remove the back dash, there are two black screws along the front of the trim panel. Get those outta there along with the child seat restraints along the top.
Now grab that trim panel and pull it out of the way. You'll now see that the speakers are screwed in from the top down. Unscrew the speakers and pop in your new ones.
**Be aware that Kia uses a proprietary plug on the stock speakers. The positive is horizontal and the negative is vertical. I used a pair of scissors and pliers to break the plastic casing off the plug to expose the connectors that easily plugged directly into the speakers.**
Now do everything backwards and you're good to go. If you screw something up, I can't be held responsible.
What cylinders go to which coil pack?
I have a 4 cyl. Chevy Corsica that needed a coil pack replaced. There are two of them, one goes with the odd number cylinders ( 1 & 3) and the other goes with the even number cylinders (2 & 4) Typically, the number 1 cylinder is the firing cyliinder and if that coil pack is gone, the car should not start. My car is a rarity that actually started and ran on the 2 & 4 cylinders.

How do you tell if the head is cracked on a 1995 Chevy Corsica?
Look at your oil filler cap see if there is a tan foamy looking substance usually means water/anti freeze is in your oil. Pull spark plugs and check and see if any plug is wet with water. When driving see if there is white smoke coming from your exhaust. These are all the quick and easy checks, another method is to purchase and exhaust gas detector to use in your cooling system, you put it on your radiator fill tube and if there are any exhaust gases present the chemical in the detector will change color. Another good trouble shooting source is an online tech source called ALLDATA.COM the service cost $14.95 a year but it is so well worth it, with this servcie there is nothing you can not do. T HEMPLE
